Promote Work Form Home
A GREAT way to save resources and cut emissions is to push working from home. With technology advances like satellite internet, application cloud hosting, and other mobile solutions, there is no reason working from home can not be accomplished in many professions and industries. Even working from home 3 days a week would cut greenhouse gases. These are the measures I'd like to see promoted here and elsewhere.

Comment by Mieke Snoek on January 21, 2010 at 3:36am - Yes, Pat I agree with you that working from home cuts greenhouse gases although you have to heat your house and use electricity for your computer at home. Hopefully this will be less than driving to work or taking the public transport.
